Pratiquer l\u2019Ashtanga signifie pratiquer les huit membres d\u00e9crits dans les Yoga Sutras de Patanjali. Ces huit membres, huit principes philosophiques fondateurs, sont interconnect\u00e9s entre eux et m\u00e8nent au dernier membre, le <em>Samadhi<\/em>, ou la r\u00e9alisation du soi ultime. Com- prendre ces huit piliers permet de se rendre compte que le yoga est un chemin de vie global qui va bien au-del\u00e0 de la pratique posturale. En suivant ces principes, nous sommes en marche sur le chemin de l\u2019\u00e9veil spirituel. Pour cela, nous devons travailler \u00e0 nous d\u00e9faire des habitudes physiques et mentales qui ont tendance \u00e0 affaiblir notre force vitale, notre \u00e9nergie. En suivant ces principes, nous sommes en marche sur le chemin de l\u2019\u00e9veil spirituel pour purifier notre \u00eatre et nous d\u00e9faire des constructions physiques et mentales affaiblissant notre \u00e9nergie vitale. L\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve en yoga doit apprendre \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9panouir dans la paix et le respect de lui-m\u00eame, des autres et de son environnement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Ahimsa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Ahimsa<\/em>, c\u2019est la non-violence et le respect de la vie sous toutes ses formes, qu\u2019elle soit humaine, animale ou v\u00e9g\u00e9tale, et ind\u00e9pendamment de l\u2019apparence, du sexe, de la religion, la couleur de peau, le statut social etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Satya<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Satya<\/em>, c\u2019est l\u2019honn\u00eatet\u00e9, la sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9 dans les mots, la pens\u00e9e et les actes. <em>Satya <\/em>contient la gentillesse et la non-violence d\u2019<em>ahimsa<\/em>, et \u00e9carte tout ce qui pourrait nuire ou blesser autrui tel que le mensonge, m\u00eame par omission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Asteya<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Asteya<\/em>, c\u2019est ne pas voler. Tout comme on ne doit pas voler un bien mat\u00e9riel, on ne doit pas non plus tirer parti des autres en profitant de leur gentillesse, leur d\u00e9voue- ment ou leur \u00e9nergie. <em>Asteya <\/em>implique la gentillesse, l\u2019honn\u00eatet\u00e9 et la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Brahmacharya<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Brahmacharya<\/em>, c\u2019est utiliser l\u2019\u00e9nergie avec sagesse. On traduit souvent <em>brah- macharya <\/em>par le c\u00e9libat ou l\u2019abstinence sexuelle car dans la philosophie yogique, les fluides sexuels du corps humain sont des \u00e9nergies sacr\u00e9es que nous devons conserver et respecter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Aparigraha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Aparigraha<\/em>, c\u2019est la mod\u00e9ration, le fait de ne pas prendre, ni de chercher \u00e0 retenir ou saisir quelque chose. De ce fait, il s\u2019agit de cultiver le d\u00e9tachement. <em>Aparigraha <\/em>nous invite \u00e0 mod\u00e9rer peu \u00e0 peu nos pens\u00e9es, nos paroles et nos actions pour nous d\u00e9sint\u00e9resser du fait de poss\u00e9der tout ce qui est inutile dans nos vies pour se recentrer sur l\u2019essentiel. Cultiver le d\u00e9tachement, c\u2019est aussi r\u00e9duire le d\u00e9sir qui \u00e0 terme peut devenir souffrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#bfab72\">NIYAMA : LE SECOND MEMBRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Shaucha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Shaucha<\/em>, c\u2019est la puret\u00e9 interne et externe. <em>Bahir shaucha <\/em>(puret\u00e9 externe) concerne la propret\u00e9 du corps physique. Elle est n\u00e9cessaire dans la pratique des <em>asanas<\/em>, que ce soit du corps, des v\u00eatements ou du tapis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Santosha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Santosha<\/em>, c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9tat de contentement profond en toutes circonstances. Cultiver santosha, c\u2019est apprendre \u00e0 tirer des enseignements et \u00e9prouver de la joie, m\u00eame lorsque l\u2019on traverse des \u00e9preuves difficiles et des d\u00e9ceptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Tapas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Tapas<\/em>, c\u2019est l\u2019autodiscipline. <em>Tap <\/em>veut dire \u00ab chaleur \u00bb et selon Patanjali dans le processus du yoga, la chaleur est g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e pour br\u00fbler les impuret\u00e9s du corps et de l\u2019esprit ainsi que les empreintes karmiques de notre conscience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Svadhyaya<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Svadhyaya<\/em>, c\u2019est la connaissance de soi, l\u2019observation et l\u2019\u00e9tude de soi-m\u00eame no- tamment \u00e0 travers les textes philosophiques. Il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 de commencer un voyage int\u00e9rieur pour apprendre \u00e0 s\u2019observer et mieux se conna\u00eetre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Ishvarapranidhana<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Ishvarapranidhana<\/em>, c\u2019est le fait de s\u2019en remettre enti\u00e8rement au divin, \u00e0 la transcen- dance. La pratique du yoga nous aide \u00e0 nous connecter \u00e0 une vie spirituelle, \u00e0 ce qui nous d\u00e9passe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#bfab72\">ASANA : LE TROISI\u00c8ME MEMBRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\">Les <em>asanas <\/em>ou postures de yoga, en tant que troisi\u00e8me membre, sont un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 pour apaiser l\u2019esprit et atteindre la r\u00e9alisation du Soi. Le <em>prana- yama <\/em>est alors l\u2019expansion de la force vitale par la ma\u00eetrise du souffle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#bfab72\">PRATYAHARA: LE CINQUI\u00c8ME MEMBRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Pratyahara <\/em>correspond au retrait des sens et la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un pro- fond niveau de contr\u00f4le du mental. C\u2019est aussi le premier des quatre membres qui concernent les pratiques internes (<em>antahkarana<\/em>). Une fois les quatre premiers membres \u2013 <em>yama<\/em>, <em>niyama<\/em>, <em>asana <\/em>et <em>pranayama <\/em>\u2013 int\u00e9gr\u00e9s, l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve aura pass\u00e9 les \u00e9tapes de purification, de renforcement et de stimulation du syst\u00e8me nerveux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#bfab72\">DHARANA : LE SIXI\u00c8ME MEMBRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Dharana <\/em>est le fait de pouvoir maintenir la concentration et la stabilit\u00e9 du mental que nous recherchons \u00e0 travers le yoga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#bfab72\">DHYANA : LE SEPTI\u00c8ME MEMBRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#6f655f\"><em>Dhyana <\/em>est le processus de dissolution de l\u2019ego qui approfondit et stabilise la pr\u00e9sence divine \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de soi.
